Music and Renewal concert March 20th CANCELLED
It is with very great regret that we have to announce that Friday’s concert Music and Renewal at Salvation Army Hall, Chalk Farm is cancelled. Last week it looked as though we would be able to carry on in the new venue but circumstances have changed and it is no longer a good idea. When it looks possible to start programming concerts again, we will be in touch.
This current situation is devastating for small arts organisations like ours and particularly for the freelance musicians who perform in our concerts whose livelihoods are being seriously impacted now and in the near future. We ask therefore if those of you who have already bought tickets will consider converting the price of your tickets into a donation rather than asking for a refund so that we can provide some support to our artists.
In the meantime, very warmest wishes to you all at this very challenging time and thank you as ever for your support,
NW Live Artistic Director
7.45pm Friday 20 March 2020
at The Salvation Army (Chalk Farm) 10-16 Haverstock Hill Chalk Farm NW3 2BL
For this concert, we welcome back supreme artists, Kuljit Bhamra MBE (Tabla) and the Alkyona String Quartet who performed our first ever concert in November 2018. Exploring the idea of renewal of mind, spirit and body in a dynamic mix of music from Europe, India and South America they are joined by legendary percussionist Adriano Adewale and video artists from the Community Workshop.
